Empire Communities, one of North America's prominent private homebuilders, offers an exciting role as a Data Analyst within their Canadian Operations Team. This position supports the Low-Rise & High-Rise Divisional groups by optimizing technological solutions to enhance operational reporting and performance. Located in Vaughan, ON, the role integrates business analysis and reporting to drive success in a dynamic environment.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards for divisions
- Lead the development, testing, and implementation of new data
- Analyze and report data trends to propose solutions to stakeholders
- Consult with stakeholders to understand and refine operational requirements
- Evaluate, document, and translate business needs into solution requirements
- Create and maintain project schedules and coordinate project actions
- Develop and implement continuous process improvement methodologies
- Identify system gaps and present optimization recommendations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes
- Investigate opportunities to enhance business efficiencies

This role requires you to have:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-3 years of experience supporting applications and systems
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel
- Ability to navigate priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Technical writing for queries, reports, and presentations
- Data mining, cleaning, and visualization skills
