Enbridge is dedicated to advancing its data analytics capabilities and seeks a Specialist I TIS Data Analytics to lead these efforts. The role involves engaging with business imperatives, conducting value assessments, and managing a portfolio of data analytics products and services. This position is integral to ensuring the alignment of data engineering products with enterprise architecture standards.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conduct value assessments to prioritize data analytics opportunities.
• Assist in solutions architecture and strategic planning for data engineering.
• Lead data engineering operations and recommend product designs.
• Collaborate with TIS Functional teams to deliver data analytics needs.
• Organize Data and Analytics teams using Agile methodology.
• Implement standards and best practices for data management.
• Resolve complex issues related to data and reporting frameworks.
• Act as liaison between Data and Analytics teams and external providers.
• Provide strategic guidance on data engineering models.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in a computer engineering role.
• Deep understanding of modern data engineering and big data analytics.
• Advanced algorithm design and programming skills in Python, Scala, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Apache Spark, CI/CD, and cloud-based solutions.
