In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor analytics specialists in methodological best practices.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to aid strategic decision-making.
• Analyze Alberta electricity and gas markets for market insights.
• Communicate strategies to optimize profitability and minimize costs.
• Conduct scenario analyses to assess market and regulatory risks.
• Develop predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistical models.
• Build data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges.
• Maintain analytical models of Alberta's energy markets.

This role requires you to have:

• Masters in STEM with a strong focus on math, business, and computer science.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry and technical experience.
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and VBA.
