The Government of Alberta's Technology and Innovation Ministry is seeking a Data Analytics Developer. This permanent, full-time role focuses on refining data models and pipeline architecture. The Data and Content Management Division aims to boost efficiency across the government through improved data access and collaboration, supporting the delivery of enhanced services to Albertans.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain data pipelines and analytics workflows.
  • Analyze and organize raw data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
  • Evaluate business needs and enhance data quality.
  • Monitor pipeline operations and conduct complex data analysis.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.

Candidates must reside in Alberta and occasional meetings in Edmonton may be required. Pre-employment checks include references and criminal record checks. Equivalencies for lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower classification and salary.
