Senior Data Analyst

The Program Information, Evaluation, and Performance Measurement Unit supports early learning and child care priorities through data analytics and strategic evaluation activities. The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in providing high-quality information to support child care programs and services.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze data to support child care initiatives, including the Canada-Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.
• Provide expert advice on data management, analysis, modelling, and forecasting.
• Translate data into understandable narratives for non-data experts.
• Implement innovative reporting strategies using statistical best-practices.
• Work with staff and senior leadership to promote evidence-informed decision-making.
