They are seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to their Data & Analytics team, leveraging Cloud-based technologies to develop robust and secure data pipelines.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable solutions for the Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytical tools.
- Improve the company's data platform architecture.
- Translate requirements into detailed design documents.
- Develop maintainable code within a CI/CD environment.
- Conduct testing and write documentation.
- Mentor the Data and Analytics team as needed.
- Monitor data quality and sustain support processes.
- Address issues and maintain integrity of reporting information.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and document results.
- Conduct periodic audits of production data and pipeline jobs.

This role requires you to have:
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Effective communication skills
- Post-secondary degree in business management, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years in Data Warehousing and ETL development
- 2+ years working with Databricks/Delta Lake Platform
- 2+ years with Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark, Scala, and Databricks
