Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO)

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) plays a vital role in ensuring electricity is reliably and cost-effectively delivered across Ontario. As part of the Corporate and Market Services Business Unit, the role focuses on enhancing Ontario’s electricity landscape through robust checking and management of revenue metering functions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain processes, systems, and procedures for revenue metering and meter data management.
• Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of existing metering processes.
• Provide technical and analytical support to internal and external customers.
• Assist with the development of functional specifications and system interfaces related to metering.
• Analyze revenue metering proposals and monitor compliance with market rules.
• Maintain records and documentation related to market rules and settlement processes.
• Prepare and analyze meter data and settlement adjustments.
