Distribution Data Engineer

Intelliswift, an LTTS company located in Toronto, is looking for a Distribution Data Engineer. This role is crucial in supporting a team of data engineers to develop automated databases managing investment, market, and sales data. The position involves database migration and interaction with broader technology teams to leverage new datasets for improved analytics solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Maintain database governance, ensuring schema structure and best practices.
• Create data pipelines throughout the Client's data ecosystem.
• Engage with both on-premises and cloud data platforms.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop internal and external networks to fulfill business objectives.
• Collaborate on data-driven analytics solutions.
• Work with technology and cybersecurity teams for data sourcing and security compliance.
• Independently conduct data tests and provide solutions requiring leadership approval.

This role requires you to have:

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and GIT
• Experience with building data solutions in cloud platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure
• Ability to automate datasets and reports
• Competence in data documentation and version control
• Proficient in making data-driven decisions
