Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will report to the Director, becoming a vital team member responsible for managing surveillance and performance measurement information. This role supports provincial and national stakeholders through various analytical and strategic projects.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate surveillance and performance measurement databases.
• Develop supporting documentation and perform data quality audits.
• Analyze data, prepare statistical reports, and promote best practices in data management.
• Respond to information requests and facilitate external information access.
• Provide planning and analytical support for specific projects and initiatives.

• Ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, MS Access, and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, or R.
