In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable cloud-native data platform using microservices.
• Develop real-time and batch data pipelines to power data-driven products.
• Implement SQL and NoSQL storage strategies for diverse business needs.
• Create secure data APIs for self-service access.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to enhance data products.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance.
• Build event-driven architectures using Kafka or Azure Event Hub.
• Develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT processes.
• Enforce data privacy, security, and compliance with standards.
• Integrate security in CI/CD workflows with DevSecOps.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and Data Lakes
• Experience with ETL frameworks like Apache Kafka and Spark
• API development skills using GraphQL, REST, and gRPC
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python
