In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and develop data systems and infrastructure including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for various data sources.
• Work with SQL, Postgres, MySQL, and Parquet for data management.
• Maintain data lakehouse architecture with schema evolution and metadata management.
• Optimize OLAP and OLTP systems for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create data solutions based on business needs.
• Establish data governance and management policies.
• Utilize cloud-based storage and query engines for datasets delivery.
• Support business intelligence with tools like Power BI and Tableau.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience in designing and implementing data systems and pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Postgres, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Parquet and data lake/lakehouse architectures.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, OLAP/OLTP.
