Data and Reporting Analyst

Manulife, a leading global financial services provider, seeks a Data and Reporting Analyst to support their Operations teams. This role involves driving business decisions using data visualizations and improving performance by revealing detailed information and trends. The analyst will report to the Business Intelligence Manager within the Global Retail Operations under the Global Wealth Asset Management Group.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and develop business intelligence solutions using Power BI and other tools.
• Translate data needs into technical requirements for visualizations.
• Apply best practices in UI/UX to build effective visualizations.
• Lead integration of new data sources into databases.
• Manage data processes and linkages.
• Oversee user access, report connections, and resolve workspace issues.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in BI solution development, especially Power BI.
• Experience with ETL methodologies and Power BI dataflow.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data modelling.
• Experience in Agile project management.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks.
• Azure Cloud Infrastructure experience.
