McGill University's School of Continuing Studies is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Dean's Office. This role is pivotal in providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior administration, aiding in strategic enrolment growth and program development. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both academic and service units, as well as the Executive team, to support the university’s mission of teaching and research.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Evaluate trends in post-secondary education, enrolment, research, and budget planning.
- Plan and implement solutions addressing organizational issues using programming and statistical skills.
- Produce data analytics and reports on various aspects such as enrolment and financial data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess business intelligence opportunities.
- Gather detailed business intelligence requirements through various methods such as surveys and workshops.
- Lead in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Develop testing scenarios and conduct tests to ensure quality assurance.
- Manage professional staff and coordinate reporting of information quality indicators.
- Support user acceptance testing and develop training materials.
