The CE&S Business Intelligence Team is pivotal in enhancing decision-making processes by managing data platforms and developing Machine Learning models. As part of a dynamic team, the Sr. Data Analyst plays a crucial role in managing business changes and evolving requirements, driving operational excellence.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop analytical models using statistical methods, Machine Learning, and AI.
• Conduct business operations analysis using various analytical tools like SQL and Python.
• Oversee and improve intake processes, including user stories and task sequencing.
• Ensure data accuracy and timeliness while adhering to business rules and taxonomy standards.
• Define quantitative measures to evaluate the success of analytics features.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders by providing tailored information.
• Mentor peers in best practices and participate in broader community engagement.
• Promote inclusion and resonate with Microsoft’s core values.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• 7+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting or equivalent experience.

You would benefit from having:

• Proficiency in problem solving and communication.
