Mueller Water Products is looking for a full-time Data Analyst to enhance their IoT leak detection system in Toronto. The role focuses on optimizing water utility management by analyzing data and providing meaningful insights. The team collaborates across various departments to drive technology and process improvements.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Manage and process data using the EchoShore IoT leak detection system.
- Conduct acoustic analysis for leak detection and generate reports for water utility clients.
- Communicate data analysis status to project managers and flag anomalies.
- Collaborate with IT, software, and sales teams to develop data analysis tools.
- Support Senior Data Analysts and Software Engineers in refining analysis software.
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) and drive process improvements.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedure documents.
- Maintain relationships with external customers and deliver leak assessment reports.
- Adhere to company conduct and safety policies.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- Experience in data analytics
- Strong data mining and statistical analysis skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, R, and Python
- Familiarity with database technologies
- Numerical methods expertise
- Excellent communication skills
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with acoustic, seismic, and vibration analysis
- Knowledge of signal processing and time-series analysis
- Experience with GIS software like ArcGIS
- Background in Agile environments
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
