In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications for data analysis and transformations within a Spark-based AWS setting.
- Assess and implement various data pipeline models and environments.
- Collaborate with product management and data research teams for ideation and production.
- Work closely with data architects and customer engineering teams for integration requirements.
- Develop and enhance data integrations within customer ecosystems.
- Build and maintain database pipeline architectures.
- Ensure data governance and security compliance.

This role requires you to have:
- 4+ years experience in Data Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years experience with Apache Spark applications using Python or Scala
- Strong ETL architecture knowledge
- Proven SQL proficiency
- Experience in building and maintaining data processing integrations using AWS
You would benefit from having:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience in unit testing and continuous integration
