Northern Health, serving a vast area in British Columbia, seeks a Data Analytics Engineer to enhance their Data, Analytics & Information Governance department. This role is vital in developing the analytics data infrastructure necessary for seamless data integration, transformation, and delivery across the organization. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with organizational leaders in driving strategic plans through data-driven insights.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and develop Northern Health's analytics data infrastructure and data systems.
• Manage data pipelines for efficient integration and transformation across the enterprise.
• Engage with leadership and teams to develop data solutions aligning with strategic goals.
• Prepare and implement data for modern business intelligence and analytics.
• Guide technical teams through enterprise-wide projects and provide technical coaching.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical fields.
• Five years of experience in data management, including integration and modeling.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and AWS.
• Coding skills in languages such as Python or C#.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
