In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Support primary data analysis using Ontario's health databases, focusing on high-priority quality improvement topics.
- Develop and map quality indicators to provincial datasets and advise on new data collection where existing data is insufficient.
- Conduct quantitative analyses using administrative data from sources like Intellihealth and CIHI portal.
- Create accessible presentations on analysis methods and results for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate on developing analytical methodologies and information products for quality improvement.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to identify analysis requirements and support indicator development.

This role requires you to have:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as health services research, statistics, or similar.
- 3 years of experience with research analytical techniques.
- Experience with administrative or clinical data analysis in Ontario.
- Knowledge of health indicators and data quality methodologies.
You would benefit from having:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with statistical software packages such as SAS, Stata, or R.
- Familiarity with IntelliHealth, CIHI Portal, or similar platforms.
- Expertise in Ontario's healthcare data and understanding of health equity.
