Ontario One Call, a public safety authority, facilitates communication between infrastructure owners and those planning to dig in Ontario. They aim to improve construction and excavation efficiencies. The organization is looking for a Senior Data Engineer contractor to shape their data infrastructure, supporting analytics and business intelligence efforts.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data to provide insights for stakeholders.
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for workflow optimization.
• Enhance ETL processes for data transformation and accessibility.
• Implement and uphold data architecture best practices.
• Integrate data across applications for batch and real-time processes.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL development.
• Experience with Python and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or BigQuery.
• Strong communication skills in English.
