The Data Engineer role exists to support the organization's data strategy, enriching data quality and supporting analytics efforts.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines within a cloud-based infrastructure.
- Create pipelines from external sources to Google Cloud Platform databases.
- Utilize Python and PySpark for ETL processes to transform data.
- Ensure data integrity and security following industry standards.
- Implement solutions using Apache Spark, NiFi, and Beam.
- Employ Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration on GCP.
- Develop large data warehouses and high-performance data systems.
- Use CI/CD tools for automated deployment processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet their data needs.
- Document data processes and best practices.
- Integrate new data sources into the Data Warehouse.
- Maintain consistency in data definitions and metrics.

This role requires you to have:
- Experience in data engineering and database architecture.
- Proficiency in Python and Apache Stack (Spark, NiFi, Beam).
