The Data Scientist role exists within the Global Logistics and Integrated Business Planning organization, where the team is tasked with developing and maintaining business intelligence and AI products to enhance decision-making in sales, inventory, and operations planning. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Document business requirements and translate them into data requirements.
  • Develop analytic models using statistics, mathematics, machine learning, optimization, and simulation.
  • Prepare data necessary for analytic models.
  • Develop complex SQL queries using SQL Server, Databricks, and Spark.
  • Conduct advanced programming using Python and R.
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Create reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Support the deployment of new digital supply chain analytics solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for logical design and code produced.

This role requires you to have:

  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Education in data science, industrial engineering, operations research, mathematics, computer science or related field.
  • Experience in supply chain analytics including multi-echelon inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and operations planning.
  • Strong knowledge in operations research such as linear and non-linear programming, dynamic programming, and metaheuristics.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Python, R, Databricks, Spark, SQL Server, and Power BI.
  • Experience with SAP and supply chain data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills and self-motivation.
  • Project management skills with Agile methodologies.
