In this role, a Data Engineer will significantly contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality data systems, supporting the mission of advancing medicine and improving lives.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop infrastructural systems for data pipelines using Python, AWS, and Snowflake.
- Leverage Fargate, Kinesis, Glue, and Lambda to create and maintain data pipelines.
- Oversee databases including PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, and ElasticSearch.
- Utilize Cloudwatch and Cloudtrail for performance monitoring and infrastructural adjustments.
- Ensure data quality and completeness through monitoring dashboards.
- Address and rectify issues in data assets within set SLA standards.

This role requires you to have:
- Minimum of 3 years in cloud production systems implementation (preferably AWS/Snowflake).
- Strong grasp of SQL and noSQL database design.
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented scripting languages.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data cleansing, wrangling, and standardization.
You would benefit from having:
- Familiarity with Master Data Management.
- Experience with relational SQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and relational database handling.
- Working knowledge of build systems like GitHub and Bitbucket.
A qualification in Math, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required.
