Capacity Management Data Engineer

RBC is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join the Capacity Management Platform (CMP) team. This role involves developing and enhancing data ingestion pipelines using tools like Elasticsearch and Airflow. The engineer will collaborate with various teams, including Shared Platform Services and Digital Operation Teams, to improve capacity management technologies.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop software to retrieve, parse, and process structured and unstructured data.
• Create predictive data models and perform quantitative analyses.
• Oversee data acquisition and ensure quality from different sources.
• Implement semantic data capabilities using NLP and machine learning.
• Define and build scalable ETL/ELT workflows for analytics.
• Support data platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop scripts for data conversion into usable formats.

This role requires you to have:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and science.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming such as Python.
• Experience with data libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.
• ETL experience with platforms like Elasticsearch and SQL databases.
