In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Generate management reports on inventory codes for accuracy with vendor part numbers.
- Troubleshoot inventory issues with purchasing and operational teams.
- Analyze inventory data to enhance product descriptions.
- Develop and maintain standardized codes across departments.
- Create and manage a mapping system for accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Update databases with current part numbers, descriptions, and specifications.
- Ensure seamless data integration with ERP systems for inventory management.
- Implement processes to validate new part numbers/codes.
- Identify and resolve data integration issues.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations to resolve inventory issues.
- Analyze and report on part number usage trends for inventory optimization.
- Monitor and validate data for accuracy post-integration.
- Generate reports and dashboards for data insights.
- Ensure data integration practices meet industry standards.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, or related field.
- Experience in data management or analysis, ideally in the electrical industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and database applications Epicor/Eclipse.
- Analytical skills for complex data sets.
- Database management proficiency.
- Attention to detail for data integrity.
- Problem-solving for data-related issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
