In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead data ingestion and transformation development efforts
• Create distributed and scalable data pipelines
• Build and operationalize the data platform using GCP and various third-party services
• Guide a team of data engineers in framework and custom code development
• Design production data pipelines for ingestion and consumption
• Provide technical guidance on effective use of Google Cloud

This role requires you to have:

• Over 10 years of experience in data engineering and performance optimization
• Proficiency with Hadoop HDFS, Hive, Pig, Flume, and Sqoop
• Experience with GCP data services and relational/NoSQL databases
• Sound knowledge of Java microservices, Spring Boot, and architecture solutions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
