Softline Technology Ltd is looking for a Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist to lead the creation of functional and ministry-specific analytics. This role focuses on enhancing data analytics capabilities to support evidence-based decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to assess and refine current data strategies, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of analytics and reporting to support decision-making.
- Work with clients to understand and improve data analytics capabilities.
- Execute and manage analytics initiatives from start to finish.
- Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with Data Architects and ETL Developers to solve complex business issues.
- Design methods to capture and process data for accurate modelling.
- Communicate complex analyses clearly to stakeholders.
- Provide interpretation and insights to support strategic decisions.
- Develop reports and visualizations using tools like GIS, Tableau, and PowerBI.

This role requires you to have:
- Superior knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with cleaning, transforming, and joining data.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Experience building visualizations in Microsoft PowerBI.

- Experience integrating R Script with Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with predictive analytics and dimensionalized data models.
- Proficiency in R, SAS, and Python.
The role requires a balance of technical skills and the ability to communicate complex analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with emerging Business Intelligence trends and a track record in a similar public sector environment are advantageous.
