The Data Engineer III role supports the central data organization, delivering insightful and scalable analytical solutions.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines to support existing data models
- Ensure data quality through built-in quality checks
- Craft new data models and perform data transformations using Snowflake
- Write performant code with Python and Snowflake SQL
- Implement ETL or ELT best practices
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deployable code
- Develop complex data engineering jobs in Snowflake SQL
- Document systems for stakeholders
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines on Airflow
- Conduct code reviews
- Mentor other data engineers on best practices

This role requires you to have:
- 5+ years in data engineering and data warehousing
- 3+ years with Snowflake or similar technologies like Redshift
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, and Spark
- Proficiency in Python and other object-oriented/functional scripting languages
- Experience in deploying production data pipelines using Airflow or similar
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git and Terraform
- Expertise in data lakes, EDW concepts, and data modeling
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with DBT or similar tools
- Knowledge of orchestration tools like Luigi
- Understanding of metadata, data workflows, and analytics support
