In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Utilize machine learning and statistical modeling to predict sports event outcomes.
• Conduct A/B testing to guide product development.
• Share insights through predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Develop models and data pipelines in collaboration with engineers.
• Establish best practices for data processes involving model creation.
• Design predictive models and optimization routines with enterprise-level impact.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams.
• Deploy models with team leaders and stakeholders.
• Use statistical methods to enhance data products iteratively.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Maintain technical design and documentation.

This role requires you to have:

• 4+ years experience as a Data Scientist
• Experience with MLB Sports modelling data
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience with algorithms and machine learning models
• Understanding of classification, regression, forecasting, and A/B tests
• Experience with GitHub for service provisioning

You would benefit from having:

• Familiarity with MLFlow
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP
• Experience with ML CI/CD pipelines
