HR Data Analyst

Umanist Staffing, based in Montréal, is looking for an HR Data Analyst contractor to join their team. The role demands a professional adept at handling data to support HR operations and reporting needs. The analyst will collaborate with HR leaders to deliver data-driven insights and solutions, enhancing the company's strategic HR roadmap.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage and update PeopleAnalytics dashboards using Power BI and PeopleSoft
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reports, including payroll and headcount analysis
• Implement data quality controls and best practices for data management
• Train HR teams on data interpretation and utilization
• Collaborate with IT to support HRIS data needs and business analysis
• Enhance HR systems to improve data integration and support HR workflows

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, HR, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 4 in analytics or HRIS roles
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in data infrastructure management and analytics
• Experience with HRIS systems, such as PeopleSoft or Workday

You would benefit from having:

The role involves full-time on-site work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a focus on strengthening HR workflows and data integrity.
