This role involves working closely with business users and analysts to develop and optimize data pipelines and systems. The team aims to ensure data quality and effective data management practices.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Build and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Design and deploy Spark programs in a Databricks environment for data analysis.
- Work with Delta Lake, data integration, and cloud technologies.
- Develop and optimize Python and SQL programs.
- Handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Optimize and troubleshoot Databricks jobs for performance.
- Implement data management, security, and governance best practices.
This role requires you to have:
- Snowflake
- SQL
- Python
- ADF
- PySpark
- Data Warehouse Concepts
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with Airflow
- Cloud certification
The role is on a fixed-term contract for 24 months, with an expected work schedule of 40 hours per week. The job requires being in the office three days a week.
