In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain scalable cloud-native data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, DataBricks, Snowflake, Spark, dbt, and Azure.
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT workflows and ensure data quality and governance.
- Build data lakes, warehouses, and architectures focusing on performance and scalability.
- Automate validation and anomaly detection across data systems.
- Maintain data dictionary and metadata repositories.
- Monitor performance and cost-efficiency, ensuring system uptime.
- Collaborate across teams to support business intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Mentor team members, lead code reviews, and promote best practices in data engineering.
- Contribute to real-time analytics, machine learning pipelines, and reporting systems.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years experience in data engineering with expertise in ETL/ELT workflows.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with tools like Apache Spark, DataBricks, Snowflake, or Airflow.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and security compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work across teams.
You would benefit from having:
- DevOps experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience supporting machine learning or AI workflows.
- Experience with enterprise data dictionaries.
- Experience building real-time data monitoring and validation frameworks.
- Experience in fast-paced SaaS environments with remote teams.
