In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage Microsoft Sustainability Manager for sustainability metrics tracking.
  • Develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics for ESG reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with global sustainability regulations.
  • Utilize Power BI for creating ESG dashboards and reports.
  • Integrate multiple ESG data sources into Microsoft’s data ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance ESG data automation and analytics.
  • Stay informed on evolving ESG reporting standards.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Sustainability Manager and ESG data frameworks
  • Proficiency in Azure services and Power BI
  • Knowledge of carbon footprint calculations and sustainability reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

You would benefit from having:

  • Microsoft Certifications in Azure or Power BI
  • Experience with ESG materiality assessments and carbon accounting software
  • Experience in corporate sustainability or ESG consulting
  • Fluency in German
