In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate data products and services into systems and business processes.
• Implement data flows connecting operational systems with analytics, product development, and BI systems.
• Automate data flows for scalable and repeatable use.
• Transform data formats for analysis via optimized ETL jobs and streaming.
• Facilitate access to data for analysis and product development purposes.
• Advocate for privacy by design compliance.

This role requires you to have:

• 3+ years of coding experience with Python, R, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Proficiency in real-life data engineering within marketplaces and tech sectors.
• Expertise in cross-functional product development with developers, UX, and product managers.
• Strong SQL skills for complex business logic implementation.
• Experience in data modeling for cloud data warehouses.
• Creating and maintaining data integration pipelines using Airflow, Meltano, or Airbyte.

You would benefit from having:

• Basic knowledge of BI tools like Looker, Data Studio, or Tableau.
• Experience in service virtualization using Docker.
• Administration of cloud VMs via Linux command line.
• Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
