In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain machine learning models for ship operations.
• Monitor and ensure model performance and reliability.
• Conduct data analysis to provide insights for efficient ship operations.
• Collaborate with shipboard staff to optimize energy efficiency tools.
• Analyze hydrodynamic performance to support decision-making.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries.
• Experience with MLOps practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Physics.
• Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of Docker, AWS, CI/CD tools, and Grafana.
• Basic physics knowledge and an interest in energy and fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency in English, with German or Italian as a plus.
