In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, backend engineers, and data scientists on cross-functional projects to develop data solutions.
• Promote best practices in data engineering and design within engineering teams.
• Ensure efficient data access layers in applications.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of application code and database queries for performance improvements.
• Evaluate database queries and storage strategies.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience in data analysis and SQL transformations.
• Familiarity with big data infrastructure on GCP or AWS.
• Experience with Git, Airflow, Python, SQL, BigQuery.
• Proficiency in pipeline and workflow management tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
