Data Engineer

Insight Enterprises Ltd. is looking for a skilled Data Engineer with a deep understanding of data architecture and engineering to join their team. This role exists to enhance data platform capabilities, ensuring they meet business needs efficiently. The team focuses on building robust data systems and seeks candidates fluent in German and English.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and objectives for the data platform.
• Design and implement data models reflecting organizational data assets.
• Ensure data designs are reliable, scalable, and secure.
• Execute data engineering practices for improved data integrity and performance.
• Integrate data engineering with platform architecture for efficient processing.
• Communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role requires you to have:

• Fluency in German and English
• 4-6 years experience in data architecture and engineering
• 3+ years with relational, dimensional, or analytic data experience
• Experience with ETL, NoSQL, and data lake technologies

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of Sagemaker/Jupyter
• Hands-on experience with big data platforms

Candidates must be authorized to work in Germany and have a willingness to travel up to 25%.
