In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize machine learning models for agronomic recommendations.
• Analyze diverse datasets to uncover insights.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for data science applications and automations.
• Create scalable data models to enhance ML system support and data accessibility.
• Partner with agronomists, engineers, and product teams for cross-functional projects.

This role requires you to have:

• MSc/PhD in data science, agronomy, computer science, or similar fields.
• Experience in building recommendation systems or data science projects related to agriculture.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with expertise in ML libraries like PyTorch and scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem.
• Experience with version control systems, e.g., Git.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with geospatial and sensor data, remote sensing familiarity.
• Full proficiency in English, with German being an advantage.
