Data Analyst I - Hospitality Data Team

Lightspeed Commerce is expanding rapidly and looking for a Data Analyst I to join their Hospitality Data Team within the product department. This team collaborates with product managers, designers, and developers to provide actionable insights for product development and strategic decisions, impacting the company's growth by leveraging data.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to deliver data insights.
• Support data analysis including customer segmentation and product initiative impact measurement using Python and SQL.
• Manage and maintain data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• Extract and visualize DynamoDB data for business decision-making.
• Maintain dashboards to track KPIs and user behaviors using tools like Heap and BigQuery.
• Support in setting up and maintaining Segment customer data platform.
• Foster a data-driven culture by sharing insights and best practices.
• Work effectively in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.

This role requires you to have:

• 2-3+ years of experience with Python for data analysis.
• 2-3+ years of experience with SQL, preferably BigQuery.
• Familiarity with customer data platforms like Segment.

You would benefit from having:

• Proficiency in dashboard tools such as Looker or Google Data Studio.
