The role of Data Scientist plays a crucial role in advancing understanding of environmental impacts through predictive modeling.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning solutions related to predictive LCA.
- Analyze complex datasets from Ecoinvent for CTC’s scientific coordinators and project leaders.
- Work with data engineers to deploy code and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead the ownership of ML models from conception to implementation.
- Collaborate on data standardization and processing with the data team.

This role requires you to have:
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or AI developer.
- Proficiency in programming with Python and using version control systems.
- Experience with LCA modeling tools like SimaPro or Gabi.
You would benefit from having:
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Skills in using Apache Kafka/Spark/SQL.
- Expertise in relational and non-relational databases.
