Outscal Technologies is hiring a Data Engineer to join Klang's dynamic team in Berlin. Klang is dedicated to creating society simulation games that foster community and understanding of societal dynamics. The core of their work is SEED, a persistent virtual world allowing players to shape history and the future. The role will play a crucial part in developing an MMO like no other, working alongside a team of Data Analysts and Engineers.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines to integrate various data sources into BigQuery.
• Implement automated data testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to ensure access to necessary data sets.
• Work with Platform Engineers to enhance data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Support software engineers in best practices for data pipeline integration.

• Experience in building and operating data pipelines in production.

• Strong SQL skills for transforming large datasets.
• Expertise in Python with tools like dbt or Apache Airflow.
• Understanding of modern data engineering practices.
