PowerCo SE, stationed in Battery Valley, is embarking on a significant expansion in battery cell production and needs a Data Engineer. This role is pivotal in supporting the swift growth of their global cell manufacturing headquarters. The Information Technology team is responsible for a broad range of IT-related tasks, focusing on digital transformation and electronic data processing to streamline operations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Realize Data Platform Features in collaboration with the Product Owner and Cloud Data Architect.
• Facilitate data access between Data Producers and Consumers.
• Design and implement data pipelines, storage, and processing solutions.
• Ensure data infrastructure's scalability, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with data architects and cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions.
• Work with software developers, data analysts, and Power BI developers to implement data products.
• Optimize data infrastructure performance and scalability.

This role comes with the following benefits:

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python or Java and SQL.
• Experience with ETL and ELT processes and strong knowledge of data warehousing and processing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• 2+ years of cloud platform experience, particularly on Azure.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies.
• Fluency in German and English (C1).

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Certifications in Data Engineering from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
