In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance machine learning models for document classification, information extraction, and decision-making.
- Implement natural language processing and computer vision models for automation of claims processes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy AI models into production and assess their performance.
- Optimize data pipelines to manage extensive structured and unstructured data efficiently.
- Conduct comprehensive model evaluation considering accuracy, scalability, and ethical practices.
- Stay informed about AI advancements and apply them to improve existing methods.
- Document methodologies and outcomes for both internal and external audiences.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
- Proficient in Python and machine learning libraries
- Familiar with NLP and computer vision techniques
- Solid foundation in data engineering and database systems
- Proficient in both German and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
