In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and refine algorithms for accurate state estimation and robust navigation.
• Design and implement sensor fusion strategies integrating GNSS, IMU, optical, and LiDAR data.
• Integrate distributed sensor data into the navigation system.
• Optimize navigation algorithms for real-time embedded systems.
• Diagnose sensor errors and improve navigation accuracy.
• Conduct field tests and data analysis for algorithm validation.
• Collaborate with control systems, perception, and software teams for seamless integration.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Kalman filters and state estimation.
• Understanding of sensor fusion algorithms.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in diagnosing sensor errors.
• Analytical skills for data extraction and problem diagnosis.
• Hands-on mindset.
• Knowledge of redundancy strategies for autonomous systems.
• Ability to optimize algorithms for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming.
• Understanding of flight dynamics and kinematics.
• Aerospace safety knowledge.
