Schill+Seilacher “Struktol” GmbH, a midsize company in the chemical industry, produces specialty chemicals used globally in various sectors like rubber, plastics, pharmaceuticals, and food industries. The Data Analyst role is pivotal in managing data systems and ensuring data governance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage analytical software systems such as Tableau, Exasol, or Airflow
• Develop and enhance Data Lake and Data Warehouse using Data Vault
• Integrate new source systems and configure interfaces and workflows
• Create and adapt Data Marts for Tableau usage
• Design and adhere to Data Governance and other guidelines
• Consolidate and harmonize data across locations in the Data Warehouse
• Independently create and verify custom evaluations

This role requires you to have:

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in BI/Data Analytics
• Experience in concept and development of BI solutions, database architecture (Data Vault), and data modeling
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Warehousing, and Big Data
• Proficiency in software development best practices, CI/CD, testing, and Git
• Experience developing reports/dashboards using BI tools, preferably Tableau
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java
• Knowledge in Linux, Airflow, Exasol, Spark, and Postgres
• Experience with AWS
• Excellent German and English communication skills
