In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify impactful patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to identify new business use cases.
  • Present new insights to C-level executives from different business units.
  • Develop predictive models, implement prototypes, and guide the team.
  • Integrate data-driven algorithms into business operations to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Work in an agile cross-functional environment with an international team.
  • Stay updated on advancements in data science and machine learning.

This role requires you to have:

  • Master's or PhD in Physics, Statistics, Econometrics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in analytical contexts such as supply chain, customer segmentation, and manufacturing.
  • Experience in agile teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong expertise in cloud and on-premises storage systems (MS SQL Server, SAP BW, Azure).
  • Understanding of business processes and experience with ERP systems like SAP ECC/HANA.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python and R, particularly for AI/ML development.
  • Fluency in English and preferably German.
