In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee databases and data pipelines for the Statista platform.
• Integrate databases with a new data architecture.
• Maintain infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Collaborate with Data Operations, analyst, and research teams to enhance data processing efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Tech division to improve data delivery processes.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Pioneering spirit for innovative technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Advanced verbal and written English communication.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with Polars, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Airflow, FastAPI, Streamlit, or Dash.
• Familiarity with Github, AWS, and Docker.
• AI and Machine Learning experience.
