Talonic, an innovative AI start-up backed by prestigious institutions, is looking for a dedicated Senior Data Engineer. The candidate will have the opportunity to impact the company's data landscape significantly and grow with a supportive team. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientist, CTO, and software engineers for scalable ETL, machine learning models, and AI functions.
• Optimize and manage data storage solutions, including vector databases.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations for data access and retrieval.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and monitoring.
• Work closely with product development to align data solutions with company goals.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new data engineering tools and technologies.
• Shape and define data engineering best practices.
• Ensure robust security measures and data privacy standards.

This role comes with the following benefits:

• Annual salary ranging from €70,000 to €80,000 with potential for increase after fundraising.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and data manipulation libraries such as Pandas.
• Experience with ML and AI tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency with vector databases and retrieval mechanisms.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data architecture design.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
• Fluent in English.
