The role focuses on applying state-of-the-art data science techniques to solve complex ecological challenges.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning models, especially for simulations and AI recommender systems.
• Analyze geospatial and temporal data to identify trends and relationships.
• Use LSTMs or transformers for temporal data modeling and forecasting.
• Employ statistical methods to extract patterns from complex datasets.
• Train and optimize models using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for model deployment.

This role requires you to have:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years of data science experience.
• Proficiency in TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
• Experience with large language models.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Expertise in temporal data modeling.
• Understanding of statistical and neural network modeling.

You would benefit from having:

• Skill in analyzing geospatial data with tools like GeoPandas.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with GIS systems and geospatial tools.
