As a Data Engineer, you will work within the Data & Analytics department to design and optimize data products using modern technologies. The B2C Analytics Retail team, spread across Aarhus and Amsterdam, is dedicated to empowering retail teams with advanced data solutions.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Participate in migrating legacy SQL data warehouses to a Snowflake platform via DBT and Airflow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and models to meet business requirements.
• Monitor and optimize data warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop data governance policies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and security.
• Stay updated with data engineering and cloud computing trends to optimize processes.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with data engineering experience.
• Expertise in Azure technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, experienced in stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of Airflow or similar workflow tools.
