(Senior) Data Scientist

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Lead data science initiatives and contribute to the data strategy.
• Develop and enhance machine learning features in collaboration with development teams.
• Work with large-scale datasets such as invoices and purchase orders.
• Optimize and utilize commercially available large language models for SaaS services.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods for SaaS applications.
• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for tabular and textual data.
• Work with embeddings and open-source models in a cloud environment.
• Improve data literacy by mentoring and sharing best practices across the organization.
• Utilize Python or R for data analysis, model development, and problem-solving.
• Communicate insights with effective data visualization and storytelling.

This role requires you to have:

• Extensive experience with statistics, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Proven track record in training and deploying ML models at scale.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms for tabular and textual data.
• Proficiency in SQL, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Ability to understand complex data models and create predictive applications.
• Programming skills in Python or R.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and ML tools.
